Bénédicte Ledent teaches English language and Caribbean Literature at the University of Liège (Belgium). She is the author of Caryl Phillips, published by Manchester University Press in the Contemporary World Writers Series. She has published several articles on Caryl Phillips, Fred D'Aguiar, Jamaica Kincaid, Joan Riley and Michelle Cliff. Many of these essays are available online via the University of Liège's institutional repository ORBi. Her current research interests include the literature of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora in the UK and the US, and Caryl Phillips's dramatic writing.
